The FORTH VALLEY SOARERS model gliding club was formed in the 1970's to promote the sport of radio controlled slope soaring and thermal soaring. The club continues flying today at their home site in the Pentlands hills just south of Edinburgh, Scotland, and at sites across the whole of the United Kingdom. Its members also fly throughout Scotland competitively and for fun.
